Are my details secure when ordering online?
The www.sarahsflowers.com.au website utilises 'state of the art' SSL or Secure Socket Layer technology to protect your transaction and credit card details. SSL is the industry standard for the transmission of credit card details. SSL technology provides 128 bit encryption of your order details which effectively scrambles all your data so that it cannot be read when it is being transmitted over the internet.
We do not store your credit card details once the transaction has been completed.
Do you have any recommendations on how to care for the flowers?
The first 24 hours is the most crucial period, affecting the durability of your flowers as flowers absorb half the water they require to survive during this time. We recommend you re-cut all stems approximately 2-3cm and on an angle. Keep flowers in a cool place and away from draughts, heaters, televisions and microwaves. Keep flowers away from fruit as it releases a gas (ethylene) which accelerates the ageing process of flowers. You can use a few drops of bleach as an alternative to flower food preservative.
In order for us to deliver the freshest flowers with the longest life to you, we often use young flowers that are closed. These buds will open shortly after you receive your delivery.
